Keep the feet warm when it’s cold most of the time, mostly waterproof but when it’s proper bad weather I still opt for deep winter shoes. They last me almost 3 years after which they were falling apart - not bad! Great value for money.

Average. The trainer is silent and does what it’s supposed to do most of the time but the connection is not reliable and will drop at least once during every 1-2h ride. The direct drive belt occasionally makes weird noises but while this is a common problem with Tacx Flux trainers garmin was unwilling to exchange the unit. Other people from my bike circle have also had issues with the flux s and are not delighted with its reliability. I will not buy a tacx again and have after 3 years of use switched to a wahoo kickr v6. The kickr is double the price but is more reliable and offers better road feel while also looking much nicer in the pain cave. Storing and carrying the flux s is a nightmare as it’s bulky, heavy and doesn’t fold. If you are on a budget it’s an ok device but I would rather spend a bit more and get a more modern unit instead of this rather „old“ and technically no longer up to date direct drive trainer.

Unzuverlässig im ERG Modus, Austausch nach Defekt kompliziert, geht jetzt in den Müll. Nach 2-3 Jahren nicht happy mit garmin/tacx und der Qualität. Am Anfang super aber inzwischen viele Probleme bei Verbindungen und mit dem schlackern des Antriebs. Ich gehe zu wahoo….
